Community Center

Coming Summer of 2026

We are excited to announce that thanks to the generous donations from our residents and local businesses, we are constructing a new Municipal Office and Community Center at the Weisenberg Park, located at 9331 Lyon Valley Rd. This new facility will be a true community center built almost entirely from private donations. The new facility will aim to provide recreational and educational opportunities for all ages and will serve as a place for members of our community to come together.

This new facility is approximately 20,000 square feet and includes our municipal offices & public meeting room; a community room with kitchen which will be available for senior programs, community groups, resident activities, etc.; a multi-purpose gymnasium with 2 regulation size pickleball courts & basketball hoops; free library; 60’x120’ indoor turf field and an indoor walking track.

The community center will be open daily from 6 am – 10 pm, 7 days per week starting on August 10th. Turf field rentals will be open starting September 8th.

Memberships are required to use the building and to book reservations. Weisenberg families can purchase a yearly membership for $35.00. Non-Resident family memberships are available to residents of Heidelberg, Lowhill & Lynn Townships for $65.00 per year. Weisenberg senior memberships are available for $5.00 per year per person & Non-Resident senior memberships are $10.00 per year per person. Donate to the Center:
You can make a difference by making a tax deductible donation to our community center. Donations over $1,000.00 will be recognized on our donor wall in the lobby. To learn more please contact Brian @ the Township office.

Advertise your business or organization:
Show your support by purchasing an advertising banner which will be displayed in either the Turf Building or Gym. 4’x8’ banners are $400.00 per year + the cost of the banner & 4’x4’ banners are $250.00 per year + the cost of the banner. Weisenberg Township Community Day / Community Center Grand Opening Event
Come join us on Saturday, August 1st from 9 am – 1 pm as we celebrate the Grand Opening of our new community center & the 20th Anniversary of the Weisenberg Vol. Fire Dept. We will have a variety of events including kids activities, car show, demonstrations, 50+ local vendors, food trucks, etc.
